(DENVER, NC) August 30, 2012 – Random Acts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to conquer the world one random act of kindness at a time, is proud to announce that it will be featured on the MacDonald Motorsports No. 81 of driver Jason Bowles this Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Bowles and the team come into Atlanta sitting 14th in the driver standings, with 12 recorded top-20 finishes through 23 races.
MacDonald Motorsports team owner Randy MacDonald learned about Random Acts through its Director, Cinde Monsam. He presented the organization with opportunity to be highlighted on its racecar September 1st at the NRA American Warrior 300, hoping to “inspire people to perform more random acts of kindness in their daily lives.”
“The NASCAR community has a long of history of providing generous support to charitable causes,” said Cinde Monsam, Director of Random Acts, “and is well equipped to join Random Acts in conquering the world one random act of kindness at a time. We could not be more grateful to Randy MacDonald and his team for offering Random Acts this incredible opportunity.”
Random Acts works to motivate people to demonstrate more kindness on a daily basis. These opportunities crop up every day, but most people are too busy to notice them. From helping a stranger carry their groceries to cheering up a homebound neighbor, Random Acts believes in inspiring kindness whenever and wherever possible.
Random Acts founder and Board President Misha Collins said, “We couldn’t be happier to have partnered with MacDonald Motorsports. Being featured in a NASCAR event is not only an honor, but it makes Random Acts both cooler and faster than ever before.”
Fans and Random Acts supporters can watch Jason Bowles race the Random Acts No. 81 Dodge this Saturday night, airing live on ESPN2 at 6:30PM ET.
