Random Acts Thanks: Stands

In the United States, it is almost time for Thanksgiving. It is a holiday where among all of the stuffing, turkey, cranberry sauce, rolls, and whatever your food preferences may be, we take a moment to be thankful. Thankful for the food we are eating, for our family and friends, and for the wonderful things in our lives. Here at Random Acts, we wanted to celebrate by dedicating several blog posts to some special folks. Each of whom have gone above and beyond the call of duty for us in the name of spreading kindness.

First in our series: a special thanks to our favorite “stack of shirts”, Stands.

Warm Thanks

Stand’s adorable Mishamigo Bear!

Founded in 2015, Stands set out with a mission — to marry the philanthropy of fandom with their love of merchandise. To that end, Stands has launched dozens of campaigns with actors from shows such as Once Upon a Time, Lucifer and Supernatural. The proceeds from the merchandise created goes to their charity of choice. Through several actors, we have been the beneficiary of various donations. Even as we speak, there are a number of active campaigns that will benefit Random Acts, including the Winchester 15 Slouch Beanie, Ola Mishamigos Teddy Bear, and the Profound Bond Phone Wallet. All of the money raised for us has gone to fund the acts of kindness our supporters and staff are doing all over the world. As we said, clearly above and beyond in the kindness department!

We not only want to thank all the folks involved with the company, but we also want to especially thank the President of Stands Michelle Henning. She is pulling double duty on acts of kindness, as she is also a board member at Random Acts. We admire her commitment to making the world a little bit better each day.

Stands saw a place where a little kindness could be stirred up and dove right in! Not only that, they run their business with integrity and a great sense of humor. They are out to change the world, one piece of merch at a time. We could not be more thankful for their partnership and friendship.

Thank you to the kind folks at Stands for their continued support!
