Jennifer started at Random Acts in 2019 as an HR Coordinator. With over a decade of experience in HR, she was immediately promoted to HR Manager when the spot opened up. Jennifer joined Random Acts because the world can always use more kindness, and it is wonderful knowing that this organization strives to use every penny possible towards furthering the mission. Many people don’t necessarily associate HR directly with kindness, however, supporting an all-volunteer organization by recruiting talented, experienced volunteers, promoting an inclusive environment, and creating a lattice for which each team can grow lays the foundation for a successful organization to achieve and expand on their mission.
If Jennifer had a superpower, she would want to be able to control time because often she wishes to be in two places at once.
In a world where you can be anything, be kind.
Assistant HR Manager – Recruiting
Stephanie has been helping clients find the people who will help their organizations not only succeed but achieve great things since 2000. She is a graduate of Fayetteville State University. Stephanie joined Random Acts in 2018 when she reached out to the leadership team to volunteer the services of her recruiting firm to the only non-profit that checked nearly all of her requirements, with the exception of no celebrity involvement.
Stephanie is a melee weapons and martial arts enthusiast. She is the mother of the Kindness Pig and single-handedly keeps coffee farmers in business.
If Stephanie could have a superpower, it would be mind control, because she is confident she could save the world if people would just shut up and do what she says.

Assistant HR Manager – DEI
Pau has been a social justice educator for over ten years in the field of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). She has a mission of centering kindness and radical love in her work. Pau joined Random Acts in 2018 as an Outreach Officer and has now transitioned to the role of HR Assistant Manager of DEI. She has a B.A. in Religion and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from New York University. She loves writing poetry, photography, activism, and spending time with her dog, Wampa.
If Pau could have any superpower, she would choose the power to bring people together around restorative justice work to make the world a more empathetic place, or to time travel.
Senior HR Coordinator
Bethany has been hiring and firing (minus the firing) for Random Acts since December 2019 in the human resources department, and she has loved every minute of it. Working with Random Acts has been the most fulfilling and flat-out fun thing she’s done since starting her career in human resources. Outside of work, Bethany spends time quilting (poorly), crocheting (passably), taking pictures of her cats (mixed results), and learning how to cook (extremely poorly). Bethany has a Bachelor of Science in human resources management as well as her SHRM-CP certification.
If Bethany could have any superpower, Bethany would have the power of giving people perfect health, so that she could save lives and also never have to exercise again.
“Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief. Do justly, now. Love mercy, now. Walk humbly now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it.” – Rabbi Rami Shapiro
Bridget works in the HR department of Random Acts and has been here just under a year. She joined after finding the organization while attending a convention with her daughter. She volunteered because the mission of Random Acts is so important, stating “the world needs more kindness.” Bridget is a Navy veteran, married to a retired submariner. She says her two beautiful daughters are the lights of her life.
If Bridget could have any superpower, it would be the power to be able to show people how other people see them. That way she could show people how much they mean to other people.
