Nicole Kirby

Regional Representatives Manager

Nicole joined the Random Acts’ Outreach Department in 2019, later moving to support management of the Regional Representatives in 2020. She loves working with our inspiring representatives all around the world, and supporting them to spread kindness.

Nicole has more than 20 years experience in the charity and non-profit sector, focusing on organizational development, project management and connecting with communities. Her current day job is with a cancer charity in the UK.  Nicole is also a co-founder and volunteer for a charity supporting bereaved parents. She lives in the north of England with her family and cat (the latter who likes to regularly join her for video conference calls).

If Nicole could have any superpower, she would choose the power to deliver hugs over the internet.

Rowan Meredith

Regional Lead, Canada – West

Rowan has been a Regional Representative for Random Acts since 2018, and Regional Lead for the Americas since 2019. She is based near Vancouver, BC (Canada), and loves doing local acts of kindness in communities all around BC. She is excited to spread kindness into the wider Canada (West) region.

Rowan has a B.A. in Slavic Studies from the University of Victoria, a J.D. from UCLA, and an LL.M. from Queen Mary University of London. She is a lawyer called to the bar in California and British Columbia.

In her spare time, Rowan enjoys playing with her dogs, reading, playing board games, and highland dancing.

If Rowan could have any superpower, she would choose telekinesis so that she could be more like her childhood hero, Matilda.

Jade Wardle

Regional Lead, UK – South and ROI

Jade joined Random Acts in 2018 as the UK South Regional Representative and during her time here has gone on to become the Regional Lead for Europe and the Rest of the World. She joined Random Acts after they helped her and she then wanted to influence others to spread acts of kindness in their own communities. Working with Random Acts is important to her because she gets to help others in need and sees the good it can do for people. Jade has a B.Sc. in Sport and Exercise Science and is now on a journey completely different from what her degree holds.

If Jade could have any superpower, it would be psychokinesis, or telekinesis a psychic ability allowing a person to influence a physical system without physical interaction.

“Leadership is not a position or a title but an action and example.” Donald McGannon.

Darsey Meredith

Regional Rep – DEI Lead, Regional Representative, Canada – West

Darsey started at Random Acts in 2019 after watching her sister, Rowan, have a blast as a Regional Representative. She has a BFA in Film Production from Simon Fraser University and studied ASL and Deaf Studies at Vancouver Community College for a year. Darsey is a writer, videographer, and conflict resolution professional. She is on the Executive Board of Directors of CoRe Conflict Resolution Society. With a group of friends and family, she also created, Kickstarted, and sold a collaborative card game, Zombie Fight or Flight.

Darsey loves playing tabletop games, writing stories, and dancing. She has three adorable dogs who love her almost as much as she loves them.

If Darsey could have any superpower, she would choose the ability to stop time so she could spend as much time as she wants reading.

Richard Coffie

Regional Representative, Africa

Richard Coffie is a people-oriented person who enjoys work that makes his community better.  He is a product of the University of Cape Coast and has previous volunteer experience working in community outreach and SME support. The motivating factor that drives him in his work with Random Acts is his desire to cause and inspire change.  In his free time, you can find him either watching football or at the beach.

If Richard could have any superpower, it would be interstellar travel.

C’est la vie – The French

Regional Representative, Pakistan

Zahra is a development economist, multi-disciplinary research professional, and a mom to one human and a dozen cats. She loves helping people and has been a volunteer for the most part of her life. She jumped at the opportunity of being a part of a global team at Random Acts that shared a common interest in making people smile with their kindness. When she is not networking with like-minded individuals, you will find Zahra with a camera, drinking her umpteenth cup of chai, or planning her next adventure!

If Zahra could have a superpower, she would choose to fly and be able to travel around the world and marvel over its beauty without having to worry about leaving a carbon footprint.

“Life is not a having and a getting, but a being and a becoming.” Matthew Arnold

Regional Representative, Asia

Cherry has always wanted to help others, and at Random Acts, she feels like she has found her people. Working here is important to her because she gets to help people out but doesn’t have to do it all by herself. When she isn’t busy planning world domination with kindness, she likes to swim, read books, bake, and then eat what she baked.

If Cherry could have one superpower, it would be the ability to refill things: refill her wallet, refill her empty packet of chips, refill her enemies’ bladders all the time… you get the gist.

“For the weirdos and the dreamers” – Casey McQuiston

Rebecca Guthrie

Regional Representative, Australia East

Rebecca G Fun-Headshot

Rebecca started with Random Acts at the beginning of 2020 having previously worked in customer service, administration, and risk assessment positions. Joining Random Acts was important to her, because she wanted to help spread the message that even the smallest act of kindness can make a huge impact.

In her spare time she enjoys baking, spending time with her family, and impromptu dance parties.

If Rebecca could have one superpower, it would be teleportation, as 99% of her closest family and friends live on different continents.

We save our lives in such unlikely ways. – Neil Gamain, “Inventing Aladdin”

Central America

Dina Rodriguez

Regional Representative, Central America

Dina started with Random Acts in December 2019 as Regional Representative of Central America. Dina joined the Random Acts team because she wanted to give back to her community, help make the world a kinder place, and to inspire others to spread kindness. Dina has a medical degree in general medicine and surgery, with a specialty in scientific research, and she’s starting her master’s degree studies in public health and world health management. Dina enjoys spending her free time practicing archery, traveling, baking, and playing the piano.

If Dina could have any superpower, she would choose the power of teleportation, so that she could travel around the world whenever she wanted to.

New Zealand

Kiri Lenagh-Glue

Regional Representative, New Zealand

Kiri has been with Random Acts since 2013, quickly finding that volunteering and social outreach were what made her tick. Random Acts gave her the perfect platform to interact with and give back to her community, and get other people excited and engaged. Kiri has just completed a triple degree in computer science and classics with first class honours. Throughout her time in higher education, she has been able to expand her experience in social outreach, leadership, and a life-threatening amount of procrastination baking.

If Kiri could have one superpower, she would choose the power to twist time so as to fit in all the projects she would like to get done in a day.

United Kingdom

Regional Representative, UK – South and ROI

It all started from the ‘Blue Peter’ Bring & Buy sales in primary school and later with participating in charitable events at secondary school.  From a very early age, Bhumika always felt keenly that she wanted to give back to her community, and help in any way she could. She joined Random Acts in 2012 so that she could continue on this journey of kindness, and help those who needed it most in a more tangible way. Bhumika wholeheartedly believes that volunteering at Random Acts is an honour and privilege. She hopes to use her skills and expertise to make the world a better place.

If Bhumika could have any superpower, she would choose the power of super healing, so that she can heal others in whatever way she can, and heal her clumsy self when required.

United States

Samara Cogan

Jr. Writer & Regional Representative, US – North West

Samara joined the Random Acts team in August 2019 after relocating from Philadelphia, PA to Seattle, WA. She is thrilled to be part of an organization like Random Acts that empowers people to be everyday heroes. Samara has a B.A. in Political Science and a certificate in Jewish Secular Studies from Temple University. She enjoys listening to the rain, writing, and playing with her Jack Russell Terrier, Cooper.

If Samara could have any superpower, she would choose the power to shapeshift, which will save her a lot of money on Halloween costumes. Samara is a Regional Representative in the US Northwest region and a Junior Writer.

“Courage is the determination to climb mountains even when the peak cannot be scaled.” Sherwin T. Wine

Misty Cash

Regional Representative, US – Southeast

Misty is a Florida State University Alum (and very proud of it!). Total Football Junkie. Chick Singer. Music Lover. Legislative Geek. PR and Communications Gal. Education Professional. Complete News Junkie. Kindness Warrior.

When it comes to superpowers, Misty would want to have the power to abolish depression because she feels that when people are happy, they are nicer to others. Then the world would be a happier, kinder place!

The only person you should compare yourself to is the person you were yesterday. (Billionaire Mindset)

Emily Rivera Jackson

Regional Representative, US – Southeast

Emily Rivera Jackson loves working with Random Acts and helping those in need.  To her, helping others is the greatest feeling and she wants to help as many people as possible.  Emily is currently a Regional Representative of the U.S. – South East with Random Acts.

Emily is a wife and a mom of two amazing daughters as well as a dog mom. Her jobs include being a top realtor for more than 22 years; a landlord; and helping to run Jackson Home Remodeling. Additionally, Emily deeply loves animals and would love to one day own a shelter supporting stray cats and dogs.  In her spare time, Emily tries her best to enjoy spending time with her family.

If she had a superpower, she would want the ability to feed and house the homeless so that she could constantly help those in need.

Casey Flenniken

Regional Representative, US – Southeast

Casey Flenniken is a true Southern Belle. In addition to her work with Random Acts, she is the CEO and Executive Director of The Flenniken House. She has a heart made of rainbows and is a tremendous supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. Her mastery of Dungeons and Dragons makes her a true character and an amazing scavenger hunt team member. If you need a hug, she is the best whether they are virtual or the real deal. This queen of memes is dedicated to her community and is truly the one person you would want with you if you were stranded on a desert island.

“What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” -Jane Goodall

Holly Olsen

Regional Representative, US – Great Lakes

Holly Olsen has been a regional representative with Random Acts since 2019.   Working at Random Acts is important to Holly because it gives her a way to be able to do more good in her community.  She embraces the notion that kindness builds hope, and that single acts of kindness can spread out around us to help make the world a better place.  In her spare time, Holly likes to aggressively convince her friends to participate in random acts of kindness and to slowly complete 5Ks in tutus.  Holly’s been a middle school English language arts teacher in the same large urban district since 1998, where curriculum creation is one of her passions.

If she could have any super power, it would be invisible because, all evidence to contrary, she really is a quiet person.

“Do what you can, where you can, to the extent that you can, because it may just be that your act of courage encourages someone else…” Desmond Tutu.
